Applicability of terms

These terms and conditions apply for purchases made by consumers in Kockums Jernverk’s online shop. We advise you to thoroughly read through our terms and conditions before shopping in our online shop.

All purchase orders will be subject to Terms and Conditions in effect at the time an order is placed with Kockums Jernverk.

Order

By placing an order through our website, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and are at least 18 years old.

When you click on the purchase button, you enter a contract with Kockums Jernverk. Immediately after you have placed your order, an order confirmation is sent to your e-mail. It is important that you check that the order confirmation is correct. If you do not receive an order confirmation, if it is incorrect in some way or if you wish to change your order, we kindly ask you to contact us immediately.

Prices and Payment

All prices are listed in EUR incl VAT, 25%. We reserve the right to change our prices with immediate effect and without prior notice.
All payments are handled by Klarna.

PAY NOW – You can pay using a VISA or Mastercard in any of our shipping countries. 

PAY LATER – Customers in Austria, Finland, Netherlands and Germany can choose to buy now and pay later. This option will be shown to you at checkout depending on your eligibility. If you are not eligible you will still see Pay Now options. You will receive information on how and when to pay when your order has been dispatched.

FINANCING – Customers in Austria, Finland, Netherlands and Germany can choose to open an account with Klarna and receive monthly statements based on the option you chose. This option will be shown at checkout depending on your eligibility. If you are not eligible you will still see Pay Now option. You will receive account information when your order is dispatched. ​

ONLINE BANK TRANSFER – Customers in Austria, Finland, Netherlands and Germany can choose to pay now with online banking. This option will be shown at checkout depending on your eligibility. If you are not eligible you will still see Pay Now option. You will receive account information when your order is dispatched. ​

DIRECT DEBIT – Customers in Austria, Finland, Netherlands and Germany can choose to pay with SEPA direct debit. This option will be shown at checkout depending on your eligibility. If you are not eligible you will still see Pay Now option. You will receive account information when your order is dispatched.

Safety

Kockums Jernverk co-operates with an authorized payment service provider (Klarna), who processes your personal details in accordance with the international security standard PCI DSS, developed by international credit card companies such as VISA, MasterCard etct.

Delivery

All shipments are sent via DHL. Standard delivery is 2-7 days. Free shipping for orders over €50. Freight cost for orders below €50 is €15.

You will receive a message via sms or email when the delivery will arrive. Please note, there can be local delivery conditions depending on country or delivery address. Your parcel will either be delivered to your door or sent to a parcel shop where you can pick it up after you have been notified.

As a consumer, you have the right to cancel the purchase order if the delivery is delayed in relation to the applicable agreement.
We insure all shipments against loss and damage while they are in transit from Kockums Jernverk to the recipient address. As soon as the shipment has been signed for at the agreed delivery address, the insurance will lapse, and you will be responsible for looking after the products. If your package is damaged upon arrival, we recommend that you make a note that you have received a damaged package when signing the shipment.

At www.kockumsjernverk.com we deliver to the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Estonia, Finland, France, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Germany. 

Claims

For claims regarding defects or deliveries that have not arrived, please contact info@kockumsjernverk.se. If the package is damaged upon arrival, we recommend that you make a note that you have received a damaged package when signing the shipment. When contacting Kockums Jernverk, please attach images of the product and the packaging for us to handle your complaint. After that an agreement is made regarding how to return and the repayment should be handled.

INFORMATION ABOUT COMPLAINTS

Products purchased from external resellers to Kockums Jernverk
If you have purchased a product from an external reseller to Kockums Jernverk we ask you to contact the reseller direct.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to cancel your purchase within 30 days without explanation. The right of withdrawal lapses 30 days after receipt of the goods. To use your right of withdrawal, you must contact info@kockumsjernverk.se and inform us that you wish to withdraw. You can not simply choose not to receive/sign for the package upon delivery.

If you wish to cancel your purchase, you must return the product to us no later than 14 days from the date on which you informed us of your wish to withdraw. For full refund the product must be unused, intact and in its original carton. When returning, the buyer pays the shipping cost and is responsible for the product until it is received in our warehouse in Anderstorp, Sweden. Please pack the product you want to return in its original packaging and pack it in such way that it will not be damaged during the return transport.

If the condition of the product is affected because of improper use, there will be a reduction, or no refund.

Repayment will be made within 14 days from the day Kockums Jernverk receive the return.

Reservation of ownership

All products remain Kockums Jernverk’s property until full payment is made.

Force Majeure

Kockums Jernverk shall not be liable for any defects in its products, delays in deliveries or other breaches of agreement that are attributable to causes beyond Kockums Jernverk’s control (force majeure). Even in situations such as these Kockums Jernverk shall, however, continue to provide the best possible service to the customer.

Disclaimer

We disclaim liability for typing errors, changes in direct and indirect taxes, incorrect price and price adjustments, technical errors, out-of-stock product and force majeure, including non-delivery on the part of our suppliers.

Changes and updates

We may change and update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. For each order, the Terms and Conditions put forth on this site at the time of the order are the ones that apply.

Warranty

Kockums Jernverk offer 1-year warranty. The warranty does not include improper use, normal wear and tear, damage or discolouration caused by dishwasher cleaning or improper storing, or damages due to impacts or accidents.

Dispute

Kockums Jernverk´s ambition is for all customers to be satisfied. In the first place we always try to reach an agreement with you if something has gone wrong.
