Complaints

We recommend that customers inspect their delivery upon arrival to ensure that the product is correct and free from defects. In the event of a complaint, please contact Kockums Jernverk Customer Service at kundservice@kockumsjernverk.se or by phone at +46 20 - 10 31 41. Please include a detailed description of the issue together with photographs of the damage and the packaging. We will then agree on how the return and any compensation should be handled.

Consumers have the right to make a complaint for up to 3 years. Complaints regarding damage that occurred during transport must be reported to our customer service within a reasonable time.

Under Swedish consumer law, you may submit a complaint regarding a product for up to 3 years after purchase, provided that the complaint is made within a reasonable time after the defect was discovered. The right to make a complaint applies to defects that can be traced to the manufacturing process and does not normally apply to ordinary wear and tear or ageing of the product. Kockums Jernverk reserves the right to first repair the defect, secondly replace the product, and finally refund the purchase.

Kockums Jernverk will assess the returned product and contact you with further information. Once we have received the returned item, we will process the matter within 30 days.

In the event of a dispute, consumers may contact their national consumer dispute resolution authority. The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform may also be used where applicable.

If you have purchased a Kockums Jernverk product from an external retailer, please contact the retailer directly regarding returns or complaints.



Right of Withdrawal

Under applicable consumer protection legislation, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days. To ensure that you feel completely confident with your purchase, Kockums Jernverk instead offers a 30-day right of withdrawal from the date you receive the product or a substantial part of it.

Private customers have the right to cancel their purchase within 30 days. If the product has been used and is no longer in unchanged condition, a deduction of between 15–80% may be made from the refund amount. If the product has been handled beyond what is necessary to evaluate its nature, characteristics and function, we reserve the right to apply a deduction for depreciation.

If the product has lost its intended functionality due to improper use, no refund will be made. To qualify for a full refund, the product must be resalable as new, and both the product and its original packaging must be returned in substantially unchanged condition.

When returning a product, the customer bears the risk for the goods. It is therefore important that the product is returned in undamaged original packaging and that any manuals, accessories and labels are included. The original packaging must not be used as outer shipping packaging, as this may damage it. Please ensure that your return is packed securely. You may use the outer packaging in which the product was originally delivered.

Please note that return labels, tape or stickers must not be attached directly to the original packaging. Damaged original packaging will incur a fee of €10. If the product is supplied in packaging that cannot be opened without damaging it, you are entitled to open the packaging to inspect the product without affecting your right of withdrawal.

If the product is lost or damaged during return transport, the customer is responsible for this, and Kockums Jernverk reserves the right to refuse a refund.
