Kockums meat mallet in untreated beech wood features two different metal surfaces for preparing meat before cooking. The ridged side helps even out the thickness of the meat, while the pointed side is used to tenderize it.

Wash by hand and dry with a towel. Avoid soaking. If necessary, treat the wood with cooking oil.
